The Art of Making Oil Paint with Matthew Wood
6:30 - 7:30 PM, Coe Gallery (Refreshments at 6 PM)
Come early and enjoy looking at some of the Museum's Hudson River School era masterpieces. Then join classical painter Matthew Good as he demonstrates a process painters used 150 years ago to make oil paint. Matthew has worked and traveled to Italy with Ben Long developing his skills as a portrait painter. He actually makes his own paint and is eager to share his knowledge.
